Your new company Our business partner is a global leader in payments and technology and has been facilitating transactions between consumers, merchants, financial institutions, and government entities across the globe. They are seeking a senior member as Director-Head of Sales in Payments and Solutions to lead the Greater China team in providing quality solutions in cross-border transactions, disbursements, money transfers etc, to a portfolio of clients like SMEs, corporates, public sector bodies, Financial Institutions, Fintech clients etc.
Your new role As a leader in this position, you will:
- Develop and deploy a multi-year strategy to ensure growth and synergies in the team and relative product lines across Greater China
- Oversee financial targets and key performance indicators, including market share goals across the business portfolio
- Manage a team that will deliver on business plans, targets, drive new revenues, identify client needs, to ensure relevant payments solutions are provided accordingly.
- Involve in business development activities to ensure seamless client engagements with the sales team to drive revenue and growth.
- Deliver market-relevant solutions for large corporates, small businesses, middle-market enterprises, Fintech, and government bodies.
- Advocate for the business, working across market and regional teams to ensure effective plan execution and business growth.
What you'll need to succeed As a successful leader, you will have at least 12 years of relevant experience in leading financial institutions, payment networks, or the financial services industry. Extensive experience and knowledge in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Global Money Movements, and Remittance business is required. You will have a strong understanding of fintech landscapes and developments across Greater China and Hong Kong. Proficient knowledge of Greater China RTP/RTGS systems, including CHATS and CIPS is required. A deep understanding of B2B payment trends, regulatory environments, current market landscapes, and gaps is mandatory. A tertiary degree coupled with proficiency in English and Chinese is a must.
