About the Role

Oversee the Channel Sales Proposition, Marketing & Product Strategy function by delivering value added and excellent services and support to channel partners

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and develop marketing and proposition strategies to uplift activity and productivity in line with the distribution strategy
  • Collaborate with Proposition Office to drive product development for partners and manage the launch processes. Jointly work with product and operation departments on the execution of product initiatives
  • Develop and manage the sales and marketing calendar and ensure deliverables are in quality
  • Work closely with channel partners and internal to ensure marketing and segmentation campaigns & strategies are aligned with country product and marketing plans and executed in a timely manner to support different distribution channels
  • Keep an up-to-date market information such as trends, competitors' activities and product details for strategic planning and ad hoc initiatives
  • Monitor the sales allowance in terms of sales tactical activities and marketing budget and allowance
  • Monitor and ensure activities carried out comply with the regulatory and rules of the Company
  • Develop team members by providing adequate training and coaching, and performance management
  • Performs other responsibilities, ad hoc projects and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager in order to meet business requirements
  • Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements
Job Requirements:
  • University graduate plus minimum 15 years relevant working experience in sales and marketing in financial industry and 5 years in management level
  • Experience in setting up alternative distribution with proven track record and with strong management ability in running profit centre.
  • Creativity and vision. Have the leadership skills and vision to contribute to developing a department from scratch.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, management, internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • PC literate, with good written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
