Product Owner Lead (up to 2M) Cloud-Based Automated Underwriting

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner Lead to join one of our innovative insurance firm’s divisions. This role is essential for driving strategic roadmap planning for their products and ensuring alignment between the IT team and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in innovative technology, have underwriting experience, and demonstrate a proven track record in product management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the companys strategic goals
  • Innovation Technology: Identify and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance product offerings and improve user experience
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritise features, and communicate product vision
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on leading product teams
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes
  • Proven experience in strategic roadmap planning and execution
  • Underwriting Experience: Demonstrated experience in underwriting processes and principles is highly desirable
  • Consultancy Background: Candidates with a consultancy background will also be considered
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and leverage technology for business growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
