Our business partner is a historical bank that provides a full spectrum of financial services to their clients. They are currently seeking an experienced Unit Head in SME & Business Banking to oversee the overall Sales and Services management of the Business Banking unit.

Your new role

As a leader in business, you will:
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute channel strategic plans for the Business Banking Department.
• Inspire, guide, and lead the team towards achieving the corporate mission with exceptional service delivery.
• Manage a team of business managers to ensure SME account acquisition, account management, and delivery of Business Banking products, including FX, loans, and trade services to clients.
• Develop the SME Relationship Manager (RM) pool to nurture strong relationships with high-value customers and uncover new business opportunities.
• Create and implement performance evaluation frameworks to monitor progress and ensure all KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Analyze business performance data to produce actionable insights, supporting sales teams in improving customer acquisition and optimizing sales strategies.
• Forge strong partnerships with SME associations and intermediary companies to establish new client relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations, meeting materials, and internal communications.
• Achieve annual revenue, profitability, and cost-control KPIs.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to excel in this position, you will have at least 12+ years of relevant experience in marketing across Business Banking and SME portfolio management. Team management experience coupled with a strong sales drive would be crucial. A tertiary degree with proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is required to service a dynamic portfolio. You will also possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and manage different stakeholders.
