Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-Border M&A Strategy: Identify, negotiate, and execute high-value acquisitions in key commodity markets (metals and agriculture).
- Operational Management: Oversee supply chain optimization, risk management, and financial performance across trading desks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with governments, suppliers, financial institutions, and investors.
- Team Leadership: Manage a multinational team, fostering innovation and accountability.
Job Requirements:
- 15+ years in commodity trading or related industries, including 8+ years in executive roles.
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
- Proven track record in closing $500M+ cross-border deals (M&A, joint ventures, asset acquisitions).
- Expertise in physical commodity trading, derivatives, and global supply chains.
- Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen (P&L, risk management).
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Languages: Fluent English; Mandarin is a plus.
