Your new role
As Trading Compliance Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and effectiveness of the company's global trading activities. Your expertise in regulatory frameworks, market integrity, and compliance programs will be crucial to maintaining trust and driving operational success across all jurisdictions where we operate.
- Develop and oversee the global trade compliance program, implementing robust controls, processes, and guidelines that align with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Stay ahead of global regulatory developments, adapting compliance strategies to meet obligations in jurisdictions.
- Partner closely with key internal teams to identify risks, enhance controls, and advise on trading activities in line with regulations.
- Support trading, listing, and liquidity management functions to ensure compliance and promote operational excellence.
- Lead efforts to identify and address market integrity risks, ensuring all trading practices adhere to industry standards and align with the company's values.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are highly desirable.
- Requires 8-10+ years of compliance experience, preferably from foreign investment banks.
- Proven track record in trading compliance, regulatory oversight, or related fields, with significant experience in the banking and financial services sector.
- Deep understanding of global financial regulations and compliance frameworks, particularly within derivatives and trading products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and adapt compliance programs to evolving market conditions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
