Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop the retail product strategy and functional features to improve customer experience and meet growth targets, leveraging insights from market research and customer data
- Familiar with the retail banking products, customer needs and competitor landscape e.g. deposit, FX, transfer, remittance, payment and etc
- As the product owner, lead across departments to implement digital transformation projects to build technology and operation infrastructure throughout the product development cycle
- Work closely with regulatory bodies and internal risk/compliance functions to ensure comprehensive compliance and risk management
- Manage daily operations and set up policies and procedure to ensure efficient operation and compliance with relevant rules and regulations
Experience and Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management in the banking industry in HK
- Proficient in digital transformation and innovative product engineering
- Strong understanding of banking regulatory frameworks, particularly in dealing with regulators
- Strong problem-solving ability; analytical and critical thinking
- Open-minded; team player; willing to challenge status quo and run extra mile
- Strong business sense; good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
