Our client is an established Financial Services organization, seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead and uphold a high standard of core operations and communication among members and trustees
Responsibilities:
- Review existing operational materials and system functionalities to identify improvement opportunities, design and create necessary workflows, procedures, and manuscripts that meet and exceed the standard service requirement.
- Ability to manage relationship with business partner and clients, and ensure Operations is able to deliver value to business partners and clients in accordance with the business core values.
- Accountable for operations within the current state service model and working in partnership with the technical team in APAC and functional streams in Hong Kong to enhance this service model.
- Continually focus on the end-to-end member experience and ensure all staff put the member (and employer) at the centre of everything that we do.
- Ensure that all business information security policies, processes and procedures are followed, identify information security breaches, and periodically review information security requirements for the relevant IT systems and processes.
- Responsible for delivering targeted team KPIs and escalation for all operational issues.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to the client regarding performance against service level agreements.
- Deliver an integrated seamless product for Operations that removes boundaries between business areas.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as trustees, auditors, regulators and other service providers
- Prepare required reporting for both management and regulatory review purposes.
- Leverage expertise to ensure that regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements are met, with adequate controls in place.
- Lead technological improvements through active management of operational projects
Your experience:
- A minimum of 10 years' proven experience as Operations Lead function or other relevant senior managerial position
- Demonstrate considerable experience in operations and service delivery within pensions administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of and operational understanding of Hong Kong's Pensions legislation
- Exceptional Leadership skills that produce high performing teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver value add services and to meet demanding deadlines
- Outstanding written, presentation, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong client engagement and leadership skills with the ability to interact with C-level stakeholders with ease
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities that lead to effective decision making
- Strong client-facing skills with understanding of commercial performance objectives
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to communicate complex business ideas
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
