Head of Institutional Sales (Taiwan), Global Asset Management

Our client is an established asset manager. They are looking for a Head of Institutional Sales (located in Taiwan) for their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the department's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Communicate with regional head office regarding teams business plan, resources needed, etc.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key institutional clients, including pension funds, insurance companies, and asset management firms.
  • Ensure efficient and effective department operations, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Investment, Product Development, Operations, Risk, and Legal to enhance service delivery and product offerings.
  • Regularly review and assess the department's performance, implementing improvements, as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Drive cross-function teams to continuously enhance service quality to the key insurance client.

Requirements:

  • Over 12 years of experience in the financial industry, with sound leadership experience
  • Strong sales track record in Asset Management
  • University degree holder with major in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of investment products, markets, and industry dynamics
  • Proficient in Mandarin and fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
