Head of Operation

My client is looking for a lead for the Operations Department, managing the Card Centre and Operation Services, focusing on card lifecycle management and team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations for both sections, ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Manage card lifecycle: ordering, stock management, delivery, refunds, and replacements.
  • Assist in budget management and resource allocation to meet departmental objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify customer needs and improve service quality.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance and data protection.
  • Review service levels and implement enhancements to customer service.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Masters in Operations Management, IT, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a management role.
  • Strong background in operations within retail banking or payment services.
  • Knowledgeable in HKMA compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record in performance improvement and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
