My Client s a prominent life insurance provider dedicated to delivering innovative financial solutions and exceptional service to clients. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant Manager and this role will primarily focus on managing the Risk-Based Capital (RBC) returns to the insurance authority, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and enhancing our financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk-Based Capital Reporting:

    • Prepare and submit accurate RBC returns to the insurance authority in compliance with regulatory deadlines.
    • Analyze and interpret RBC data to assess the companys capital adequacy and risk exposure.
  • Financial Analysis:

    • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data for RBC calculations.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to enhance financial reporting systems and processes.
    • Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on RBC-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of Risk-Based Capital frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
