Position Overview

  • The job holder will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and improving compliance processes within the Corporate Client Service team. This position requires collaboration with teams in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and China. The ideal candidate will have a blend of consultancy and in-house experience, with a focus on driving insurance projects.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Malaysia, Hong Kong, and China to enhance operational performance.
  • Conduct business-as-usual (BAU) operational tasks, ensuring smooth functioning of processes.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
  • Utilize project management skills to effectively drive and manage insurance projects.
  • Implement change management strategies to support organizational growth and adaptation.
  • Oversee compliance project improvements and revamp existing processes to streamline operations.
  • Proactively identify areas for innovation and improvement within existing processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze data and metrics related to service performance and operational effectiveness, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership regarding potential improvements.
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members and stakeholders to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new processes and changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives.

Position Requirements

  • University graduate, preferably major in business related subject or equivalent
  • 12+ years of solid experience, including at least 5 years of managerial experience with a focus on business strategy, operations, and/or transformation in financial services
  • Proven experience in driving insurance projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Background in both consultancy and in-house roles, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex projects.
  • Familiarity with compliance processes and previous experience in compliance project improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and English, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically, with a smart, results-driven approach.
