Overview
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head of SME Banking (Product and Strategy) at an established bank. Your role will be to provide overall strategic leadership and strategy with the goal of becoming the bank of choice for SME and Commercial Banking clients in Hong Kong.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide overall strategic leadership, KPI setting and driving relationship management teams to accelerate and grow the SME and Business Banking business in Hong Kong
- Drive and develop various products including Lending, Unsecured Loans, and promote other products to develop meaning banking relationships with SME/CMB customers
- Lead a Large Department and tactfully work across all stakeholders for internal approval in order to execute transactions,
- Complete various reports for senior management / CE including pipeline forecasting and monthly cross-selling income and deal tracking
- Provide oversight and be accountable to the account opening process including any necessary documentation for new and existing accounts;
Requirements:
- 18 years SME Banking experience from a major reputable banking institution, with a minimum of 10 years management experience
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and management track record
- Experience in acquiring new clients and track record in the growth of a portfolio, in particular HK SME and Business Banking segment clients
- Experience covering clients across various industries
- Product knowledge in loans and cross-selling;
- Strong Academics from a reputable University
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
