Position Description
This position will be responsible for driving CITIC Securities Asset Managements sales and distribution strategy for wholesale distribution clients principally in Hong Kong and China, and potentially more broadly in APAC depending on experience.
For the right candidate this position will offer significant career opportunities, including the potential for growth into broader leadership positions and responsibilities within Asset Management.
Candidates for this position will need to demonstrate (i) a clear understanding of the product and service strengths of CITIC Securities Asset Management, (ii) the challenges of building relationships with regional wholesalers (private banks, wealth management firms, securities firms, consumer banks and other offline and online distribution intermediaries), and (iii) a clear plan to address those challenges. A successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate proven success at developing sales strategies and raising assets with such intermediaries in the region.
This position is likely to be located in Hong Kong although some flexibility on location is available.

Requirements
- Degree holder, major in business or finance related subjects
- 6-10 years of relevant sales experience in an asset management or other applicable financial services business line
- Proven relationships with relevant clients
- Ability to lead projects independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven team player
- Strong sense of personal accountability, diligence, initiative and responsibility for owning issues through to resolution
- Keen to work in and able to thrive in a fast-growing business with a very broad range of asset management business lines
- Business level Mandarin and English.
