Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client service operations and provide administrative support to senior management.
- Execute daily account transactions and client orders, including equities, fixed income, OTC derivative products, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
- Assist in researching and onboarding new clients, preparing pitch books, internal documentation, and coordinating client events.
- Proactively deliver investment insights and maintain communication with clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Handle the account opening process and assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), annual reviews, and transaction monitoring.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities within the institutional market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiency and enhance overall client experience.
- Develop the institutional client base and maintain strong client relationships.
- Promote research services to clients, including research reports, conference calls, corporate roadshows, and strategy seminars.
- Achieve sales targets, including IPOs and secondary market placements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in brokerage/asset management, preferably in client-facing roles or institutional sales.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and private banking strategies.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
- Result-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensed under SFC with Type 1, knowledgeable in local regulatory and compliance standards.
