Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Determine and report on the liquidity requirement of each international business line and operate to the guideline of FICCs global liquidity management strategy in optimising FICCs funding situation.
- Responsible for collating information on all liquidity usage and warehouse of FICCs international business lines and report on the liquidity situation to Global FICC management.
- Allocate repo funding across various quality repo counterparties to diversify the funding sources.
- Providing market colour and timely updates on the specials market to the relevant team.
- Manage trade booking to ensure accuracy.
- Manage bond inventory and financing forecasting.
- Facilitate the pending settlement issues by liaising with middle-office to ensure timely and accurate trade settlement.
- Assist with repo execution activities with brokers.
Requirements
- FICC work experience in Bond and/or Repo trading as well as own-note issuance funding experience preferred. Candidates with strong Corporate Treasury experience may be considered.
- Strong understanding of balance sheet and cashflow dynamics of trading desks that operate in Bonds and OTC Derivatives.
- Carries the prerequisite to be registered for SFC type 1 activities.
- Bachelor or above degree of finance and accounting or related fields.
- Team player, good personality and motivation.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua preferred).
