A fast-growing and stable Global Financial Institution is actively hiring a Compliance Manager/Senior Manager to join the Compliance team and support the CCO in managing the overall compliance function for the institution.
Your new role
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in managing overall compliance matters to ensure the company adheres to the regulatory requirements of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (HKSFC) and other relevant markets.
- Collaborate with the Hong Kong and Group Compliance Team, assisting with daily compliance tasks across various regulatory obligations.
- Assist in licencing applications, notification requirements, compliance surveillance, reporting, and broader compliance areas such as AML/KYC, conduct & ethics, and market conduct issues.
- Assist the CCO in conducting audits and assessments to identify and address compliance risks.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to internal staff to foster a strong compliance culture within the firm.
- Closely communicate with the head office to ensure
- Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Banking & Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 5-8+ years of compliance experience in financial services, preferably within global financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of SFC rules and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to change.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
