KPMG is one of the leading audit practices in the Mainland Chinese and Hong Kong. Forming part of KPMG's audit practice, the Financial Services group, both locally and internationally has been growing rapidly in recent years, especially in China. The Financial Services line of business incorporates Asset Management and Private Equity, Banking & Capital, Insurance, Securities and Investment Management. This is a challenging and highly competitive market place offering considerable opportunity as clients expand their business not only in China but globally.

Responsibilities
  • Lead teams and assist Partners in carrying out quality audit service in various Financial Services sectors including Asset Management, Private Equity, Insurance, Banking and Capitals etc.
  • Work collaboratively with members of Client Service, Marketing and Business Development teams to create strong links between marketing business development and key clients activities.
  • Plan effective auditing process
  • Inspect internal systems and controls, assess risk management tactics
  • Explain audit findings and recommending solutions. Play a key in preparing audit proposals and presentations
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback to team members
Experience
  • Qualified accountant with Financial Services audit experience from a Big 4 CPA firm
  • Strong technical skills and able to research accounting issues in a wide variety of GAAPs
  • Strong business awareness and an ability to identify audit
  • issues arising from commercial transactions
  • Effective in networking and internal collaboration with a
  • diverse team of professionals
  • Team player, with the ability to multi-task, is flexible and can
  • work under pressure
  • Socially confident with good diplomacy and organization skills
  • Occasional travel is required
