We are assisting a leading Life Insurance company to seek for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to oversee payment compliance. The successful candidate will ensure all payment processes adhere to internal policies, applicable regulations, and industry standards, supporting the company's efforts to maintain operational integrity and mitigate financial risks.

Position Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review payment transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of payment processes and controls, identifying discrepancies or potential non-compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve payment issues and implement corrective actions effectively.
  • Support the development and enhancement of payment policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to payment compliance and audit findings.
  • Participate in regulatory audits and liaise with regulatory bodies on payment-related matters.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on payment policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor ongoing regulatory changes and ensure company policies are updated accordingly.
  • Assist in the review and approval of high-risk payments, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.

Position Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payment operations, compliance, or internal audit, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processes, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of AML, anti-fraud, and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and English, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
