Job Descriptions:

  • Advise on a range of investment products and co-coordinate closely with business team, experience in SFC authorized fund, UCITs fund domiciled in Ireland, ETF, MPFA approved pooled investment fund, private equity fund, real estate fund
  • Draft, review, comment and negotiate various types of legal documents such as fund set up documents (trust deed, custodian agreement, administration agreement, limited partnership agreement, subscription agreement, market maker agreement, participating dealer agreement, metal provider agreement), investment management agreement, distribution agreement, cornerstone agreement, prime brokerage agreement, ISDA, GMRA, service providers mandate, placing agreement, confidentiality agreement, joint venture agreement, share subscription agreement, shareholders agreement, IT system agreement, trademark and other intellectual property license agreement, employment agreement, etc.
  • Provide ad hoc legal research and advice

Requirements:

  • Qualified to practice law in Hong Kong
  • minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience with asset management companies, financial institutions or law firms
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience in fund management. High level of familiarity with Hong Kong funds law
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Teamwork oriented with good presentation skills
  • Self-starter who balances precision with speed
  • Strong written/spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
