Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily trade finance operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
- Review trade documents, including Letters of Credit and bills of lading, for accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries related to trade finance, providing exceptional support.
- Analyze and mitigate risks in trade transactions to protect the bank's interests.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade finance operations within the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance products, such as Letters of Credit and documentary collections.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and stakeholder interaction.
- Proficient in relevant banking software and MS Office applications.
