AVP, Business Auditors, Internal Audit

Key Accountabilities

• Perform audit assignments (including planning, execution, reporting) according to the Groups annual audit plan and management requests;
• Validate the remedial actions taken to address the issue recommendations raised by regulators, internal and external auditors;
• Assist the Chief Auditor/supervisors to perform risk assessment on the Groups audit units and develop annual audit plan for the relevant areas;
• Provide independent and professional audit/consultancy service to improve the Groups risk awareness and control effectiveness;
• Report audit work according to the requests from the Groups senior management, the Head Office, external auditors and regulators; and
• Any other duties as instructed by Chief Auditor/supervisors from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• Education: Bachelor or above degree, majoring in accounting, finance, business, law or other relevant areas;
• Qualification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and other relevant qualifications is a plus;
• Work experience; more than 8 years of relevant work experience in external and/or internal audit, internal control or risk management of financial institutions;
• Technical capabilities: Sound knowledge in auditing financial institutions (such as banking and securities, etc.). Familiar with derivatives products, regulations and operations of investment banking is a plus. Proficiency in office software and good data analytical skills: and
• Language capabilities: Good communication and organizing skills. Proficient listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
