Solution Architect - AliCloud

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in cloud computing, a proven track record of successful solution delivery within a regulated environment (ideally insurance or financial services), and excellent communication skills in both English (for internal stakeholders) and Mandarin (for communicating with mainland vendors. This role requires a hands-on architect who can not only design solutions but also actively participate in their implementation and deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect secure, compliant cloud solutions on AliCloud.
  • Implement, deploy, and manage AliCloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Communicate with and manage mainland vendors in Mandarin.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Enforce security best practices and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve solutions using the latest AliCloud features.

Core Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AliCloud services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors effectively.
  • Strong Understanding of Cloud Security Principles and Best Practices.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
