Service Line Overview KPMG Markets group helps the firm navigate where to play and how to win. Sectors & Accounts are at the heart of our go-to-market strategy, and we are looking for an experienced professional to join the team.
This role will manage core elements of the sector and accounts programme with impact of our VIP clients, more specifically the Alumni Programme and The KPMG Board Leadership Forum. This role also supports our internal Business development programme in supporting the Head of Real Economy Advisory (Non-FS sectors).
You will report to the Director of the National Sectors & Accounts programme, and work closely with other senior members of the team i.e. the Hong Kong Markets Partner-in-Charge, as well as Leadership team in other Business Units of the firm.
Key Responsibilities - Collaborate internally to define and coordinate activities such as planning, execution, reporting and managing the alumni programme to achieve our ambition and strategy
- Provide a coordinated response to emerging alumni needs, communicate our firm's strategic programmes such as the CSR initiatives to alumni, and focus on engagement of our alumni to link them even closer to the firm
- Be present at alumni events, engage and become an important contact person for requests.
- Assist the Real Economy Sector Leader in preparing the sector plan and budget for the National Team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Support The KPMG Board Leadership Forum by organising, planning and assisting in the execution of activities as well as follow-up and reporting linking this programme closer to our Real Economy Business as well as the Alumni.
Experience & Background - Five years of work experience, ideally in a professional services firm and a relevant role. Prior client facing experience will be a plus
- Understanding of the functionality of CRM and business support systems.
- Understanding of centrally running a go-to-market campaign, supporting a central PMO for a client, or a service roll-out or a full marketing campaign.
- Flexible, resourceful, independent and self-motivated with excellent inter-personal skills
- The ability to liaise with senior management and partners is crucial
- Good knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word.
- English is essential, Mandarin will be a highly beneficial, Cantonese would be a plus
