We are seeking a Production Support Engineer to join a fast-paced, technology-driven team focused on delivering a seamless customer experience. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems. You'll monitor live environments, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to keep systems running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production systems and proactively identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to ensure smooth operation of the production environment
- Automate and streamline support-related processes and tasks
- Provide Level 1 technical support and escalate when needed
- Perform root cause analysis of production incidents and implement long-term solutions
- Develop scripts and tools to support automation of routine tasks
- Create dashboards and reports to illustrate system health and performance
- Design and maintain troubleshooting procedures and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency with Linux and shell scripting
- Solid knowledge of databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ElasticSearch
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting tasks
