Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsiblities - Manage physical access control at data centre and server rooms
- Monitor, control and maintain tracking of IT equipment move-in/out at data centre and server rooms
- Manage vendors to deliver quality IT services for data centre and server rooms in accordance with agreed SLA
- Co-ordinate among vendor supports to follow up alerts detected and incidents for facilities at data centre and server rooms
- Manage daily batch jobs execution by working with application, infra support and data centre operation team
- Plan and track preventive maintenance of facilities at data centre and server rooms
- Strengthen monitoring of physical security and environment controls at data centre and server rooms
- Provide support to BAU operations and regular onsite inspections in accordance with DBS standards and processes as well as audit and regulatory requirements for data centre and server rooms
- Ensure daily operations at data centre and server rooms are comply with DBS prevailing processes
- Review BAU operation processes regularly for data centre and servers and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Co-ordinate among different teams of vendors and DBS teams to drive and support major production changes at data centre and server rooms.
Requirements - Solid working experience (7 years or above, 10 years for non degree holder) in managing data centre operations and facilities including cabling, preferably in banking sector
- Experience in manageing outsourced IT services with multiple vendors is a must
- Technical knowledge in the following areas:-
- Data centre standards and facilitieis including cabling
- Physical security controls for data centre
- Audit and regulatory requirements for data centre operations
- Degree in Information Technology or 10 years or above of relevent working experience in job related fields
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills in English and Cantonese
- Able to communicate with management and working level
- Positive attitudes and able to adopt fast changing working environment and technology industry
