Associate, Fixed Income/ Equities Operations, Investment Bank

Our client is an international investment bank. With their expansion of business, currently looking for 2 Associates to join their growing fixed income/ Equities operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the set up of equities operations desks
  • Oversee the entire trade process: confirmation, settlement, and payment.
  • Ensure timely processing and smooth settlements of daily transactions.
  • Monitor cash movements in custodian accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform second-level checks and validations.
  • Communicate with clients about confirmations and settlement issues.
  • Ensure quality customer service during transactions.
  • Support the Head of Back Office with projects and system testing.
  • Assist during HK holidays when markets are open.

Requirements:

  • University degree with minimum 5 years of trade processing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of equities or bonds product
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
