Your New Role
- Centralise Data Systems: Design and implement strategies to integrate multiple independent systems into a centralised, streamlined data platform.
- Data Collection Protocols: Develop protocols and standards for collecting, organising, and storing diverse datasets, including structured and unstructured data (e.g., text, images, phone numbers, etc.).
- Searchability & Accessibility: Optimise data allocation so that front-end systems can efficiently retrieve and display information for end users.
- Data Consolidation: Unify various data types and formats into a cohesive and easily visualised structure, ensuring smooth data processing and usability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, software engineers, and data scientists, to understand data needs and implement effective solutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Candidates from the life sciences, health sciences, or enterprise-level industries with experience in managing vast and complex datasets are highly preferred.
- Proven experience in designing data architectures for large-scale systems, including handling both structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with various database systems (Oracle is not mandatory-experience with other databases is welcome).
- Ability to create innovative solutions for integrating disparate systems and optimising data workflows.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
