Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Relationship Managers in delivering family office services to high-net-worth individuals, enhancing customer retention and growth.
  • Provide clients with guidance on international tax and legal matters across regions such as mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Singapore.
  • Offer tax and legal advice to HNWIs regarding individual income tax planning, wealth transfer strategies (including onshore and offshore trusts, and insurance), residency and immigration planning, estate and gift tax, estate planning, and entity structuring.
  • Identify and evaluate client needs, offering insights into the utilization of trusts, family offices, companies, partnerships, insurance, and other tax and legal tools.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to manage a client portfolio and provide post-sale consulting services.
  • Coordinate with external parties, including corporate service providers, accounting firms, and government agencies.
  • Conduct research and provide consulting on various international tax issues.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in law firms, accounting firms, or family offices. Experience in the private banking sector is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of individual income tax regulations in China and familiarity with the regulations of major countries/regions, including Hong Kong SAR, the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Singapore.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax planning for HNWIs within an international context.
  • Strong understanding of trusts, family offices, and offshore structures.
  • Experience and knowledge in investment are advantageous.
