Security Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a Data Security and Privacy candidate with a strong background in data protection, regulatory compliance, and consultancy background.

Salary: HK$40k - HK$50k

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive data security and privacy assessments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
  • Develop and implement data protection strategies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise clients on data governance frameworks and privacy policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as architects and developers to ensure data security measures are integrated into business processes.
  • Monitor and report on data protection compliance and security incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and regulations in data security and privacy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data security, consultancy background is a plus, or a related environment.
  • Strong understanding of data protection regulations and frameworks.
  • Experience with risk assessment and management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, in English and Cantonese with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Relevant certifications e.g., CISM, CISSP,CSSLP, CDP (DevSecOps), CISP.
