Our client, a global hedge fund, is now actively seeking multiple frontend engineers to join the team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing applications in Typescript/ReactJS.
The role:
- Create low-latency, real-time applications that handle multiple workflows seamlessly.
- Design and deliver visually appealing solutions, including wireframes and proof of concepts (PoCs).
- Focus on Trade Entry, Position Management, Order Monitoring, Execution Platforms, and Risk/PnL summaries.
- Engage with Traders, Middle Office, Support, and Technology teams, ensuring user needs are met across the organization.
- Provide assistance and training to users, gather requirements, and build scalable, flexible solutions.
What you offer:
- At least 3+ years in a relevant frontend development positions
- Exceptional front-end development skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with UX design tools and working closely with UX designers to deliver cohesive themes.
- Curate CSS libraries to maintain consistency and ease of adoption across applications.
- Familiarity with UI testing frameworks, including hit testing and end-to-end testing using tools like Selenium.
- Knowledge of low-latency, low-memory, multi-threaded real-time messaging systems.
- Experience in data aggregation, pivoting, and propagation.
- Proficient in data representation, web frontends, and .NET services.
- Strong skills in React, along with Typescript and Javascript.
- Good understanding of SignalR or similar technologies, WebSockets, and Progressive Web Applications.
- Experience with charting libraries such as HighCharts, Infragistics Ignite UI, Material UI, or AG Grid.
