Associate Director/ Director, Investment Management & Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and execution of investment strategies across multi-asset portfolios and advisory mandates
• Chair investment committee meetings to discuss market research, asset allocation, and portfolio construction ideas
• Manage a team of 4–5 Investment Counselors/Managers; provide investment support, trading ideas, and market insights to the RM team
• Monitor portfolio performance and deliver regular updates to clients
• Drive the ongoing development, maintenance, and innovation of the multi-asset product shelf
• Design and implement suitability frameworks for pre- and post-trade processes to ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee product due diligence processes, including risk rating and shelf management for all investment products
• Supervise the preparation of pre- and post-sales materials, including fund fact sheets, house views, and investment strategy content
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure adherence to compliance standards

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management, or a related discipline
• CFA designation is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of the External Asset Management (EAM) business model
• Minimum 10 years of experience in investment management, advisory, or portfolio management, ideally within the private wealth space serving HNWIs/UHNWIs
• Proven track record in managing multi-asset portfolios
• In-depth knowledge of private wealth products, investment instruments, and governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of structured products is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough market research and investment analysis
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
