About the Role
The Head of IT Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the digital transformation strategy across all manufacturing operations. This role drives the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, optimizes processes, and ensures alignment with business objectives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. The Director will lead cross-functional teams, manage large-scale digital initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation and digital readiness throughout the organization. Oversee and manage digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations, including automation, data analytics, IoT, MES, ERP, and smart manufacturing systems. Collaborate with C-suite executives and functional leaders to integrate digital technologies into all aspects of manufacturing and logistics processes. Lastly, design and implement a technology roadmap, evaluating emerging technologies and recommending suitable innovations for adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in digital transformation or manufacturing leadership roles, with a focus on Industry
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital initiatives from concept to implementation in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, IoT, cybersecurity, and smart manufacturing systems will be a major plus
- Demonstrated people management, project leadership, and change management skills
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with experience influencing at the executive level
- Good command in English and Chinese
