A well-established and reputable bank is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their team.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with key stakeholders to deliver data-driven reports and solutions, meeting business needs and helping teams unlock the full potential of their data.
- Dive deep into data mining and analysis, leveraging cutting-edge tools and big data technology to uncover valuable insights and make accurate predictions that support critical decisions in product and operational strategies.
- Take charge of data product strategy and project management, working on plans to optimize existing data tools, improve user experience, and drive adoption of data products across business teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the development of high-quality, reliable, and accurate data assets, enhancing the overall value of the bank's data ecosystem.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in IT, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of solid experience in data and business analysis, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and data modeling, along with hands-on experience in data visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI. Familiarity with cloud data services, data architecture concepts, and code optimization is a plus.
- A strong grasp of data and analytics in complex business environments, with a preference for candidates with financial services experience.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, and capable of thriving under pressure in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese).
