Principal Duties and Responsibilities - â€‹â€‹

1. ​​End-User & Desktop Support​​

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, meeting facilities and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and collaborate with vendors for rapid resolution.

2. ​​Server & Infrastructure Management​​

  • Maintain server room operations, including hardware, storage, and backup systems.
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades and ensure alignment with business goals.

​3. Network & Cybersecurity​​

  • Monitor network performance, implement security patches, and enforce compliance policies.
  • Assist in incident response and collaborate with security teams during breaches.

4. Budgeting, Procurement & Billing Coordination​​

  • Manage IT asset budgeting lifecycle (procurement, deployment, disposal) and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Collaborate with finance to reconcile monthly vendor invoices and operational expenses.

​5. Team Collaboration & Leadership​​

  • Contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions and best practice documentation.
  • Support project initiatives (e.g., Virtual desktop, IDC, disaster recovery planning).

 

Requirement -

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • Proven hands-on 3–5 years in IT operations support roles (preferred in financial services).
  • Proven track record of teamwork and collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Technical Skills​​:

  • Technical: Windows/Linux, Office 365 suites, networking (TCP/IP, VPN), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity tools
  • Good understanding of networking, infrastructure, and telecom concepts. i.e. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, TCP/IP, and VPN services
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+, ITIL Foundation, CISSP (preferred).

Language skills​​: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin (written/spoken - must), English and Cantonese.
