As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the following:
- Architectural Design: Design and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud/hybrid solutions. Prepare architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
- Collaboration & Guidance: Work closely with enterprise, solution, and cloud architecture teams, providing technical mentorship to engineers.
- Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration between new cloud solutions and existing on-premises infrastructure. Proactively resolve technical challenges.
- Security & Compliance: Partner with InfoSec to ensure alignment with best practices, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Technology Evaluation: Continuously assess emerging technologies and recommend tools and platforms that enhance performance and scalability.
- Project Oversight: Manage cloud architecture projects end-to-end, tracking key deliverables and ensuring timely execution.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to align deliverables with project expectations and enterprise standards.
To be considered for this role as a Solutions Architect, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelors degree in technology, engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in application/infrastructure design, including 3+ years as a Solutions Architect in medium to large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in application architecture modeling, data architecture, and solution portfolio management.
- Deep expertise in APIs, microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture (EDA), and integration technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular, hybrid mobile frameworks (e.g. Capacitor), and reporting tools like Jasper Report.
- Solid background in Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and observability platforms.
- Strong grasp of non-functional areas including performance, scalability, information security, and data privacy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Insurance or healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and security architecture is an advantage.
