Your new company Our client's mission is to develop Hong Kong as the gateway to and from the Greater Bay Area (GBA). They strive to be the preferred ecosystem to drive business collaboration, innovation commercialisation, technology adoption and talent flow through a partnership network.
Your new role - Business Planning: formulate business strategies and tactics and execute the business plans by promoting different programmes, events and relevant activities to drive cross-border collaborations and technology commercialisation with various stakeholders
- Partner Development: study, engage, develop and maintain close business relationships with various partners covering industries, leading corporates and technology companies, with the objective of promoting technology adoption and developing a structured platform to connect relevant stakeholders such as trade associations, manufacturers and channel partners.
- Commercialisation: Assist tenants and other stakeholders, such as universities and research institutes, to speed up their commercialisation process by developing structured programmes linking their innovation, technologies, products and solutions to various partners with the aim for trail, technology transfer and ultimately adoption in the market.
- Tenant Acquisition: work with internal teams to support recruitment of quality technology ventures as tenants for the campuses in the GBA; both northbound from Hong Kong and southbound from the Mainland to Hong Kong.
- Tenant Support: work with account managers to provide comprehensive value-added service and advice to tenants and relevant stakeholders to facilitate business collaborations amongst them and linking them to relevant partners in the partnership ecosystem.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management as appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Management, Finance or related subjects. Preference will be given to candidates with cross disciplinary training or a higher degree
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in the commercial sector such as industrial companies, leading corporates, technology firms or MNCs
- Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to close deals.
- A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills and superior leadership.
- The ability to work independently, meticulously and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, multitasking and work under pressure with a tight schedule.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must.
- Business travel is required.
