Our client is a commodities trading house primarily in the business of energy trading. The Group is involved in both physical and derivatives trading out of Singapore, Dubai, and London. The Naphtha Trader will be responsible for the development and promotion of Naphtha trading, interacting with related companies, especially in the Far East region. Responsibilities

  • Build key Naphtha relationships (existing & new), partnerships & trading flows for the Far East region
  • Utilize existing networks with suppliers, refiners, producers, traders, and endusers within the physical Naphtha marketplace
  • Perform physical trading & related hedging, accountable for the book P&L delivery plan
  • Set up strategic objectives for the longer-term business growth in the region
  • Analyse the markets to identify the needs of the customers & propose strategic partnership opportunities

    Requirements
  • Degree in business, economics, engineering, or relevant field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation ability
  • Have a strong network of contacts in the global Naphtha industry
  • Relevant experience in oil markets dealing with the main Naphtha end-users
  • Excellent communication and negotiation ability
  • Analytical mindset with excellent decision-making skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
