Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive data analytics and AI strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with business units across the organization
  • Lead the development and deployment of data analytics initiatives to support business needs
  • Ensure robust data governance, including data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and service agreements with external vendors to maximize value and efficiency
  • Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with business teams to integrate AI solutions into core business operations
  • Monitor emerging trends in AI and data analytics, and recommend innovative approaches for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in data analytics, cloud computing, and AI.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, SAS, or other relevant data analysis tools
  • In-depth knowledge of general insurance products and operations, with hands-on experience in dynamic actuarial modeling, IFRS 17, and Risk-Based Capital frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, managing data quality, and utilizing cloud infrastructure
  • Proven track record in leading analytics teams and managing vendor relationships
  • Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English, with strong influencing and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a fast learner
