About the Role
As the Senior Vice President of Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's innovation strategy to align with overarching business goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy that addresses the company's needs and pain points.
- Idea Generation: Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to cultivate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the development and execution of innovation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to promote an innovative mindset and seamlessly integrate new solutions across the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present innovative concepts to stakeholders and C-suite executives, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor metrics to assess the success of innovation initiatives, providing regular updates on progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in innovation management, digital transformation, fintech, or a similar role.
- Solid team management experience, having led a sizeable team.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a large financial institution, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Demonstrated project experience in AI, digital banking, e-wallets, digital payments, blockchain, or related technologies.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (verbal and written) is essential.
