What You'll Do
- Lead Cloud Transformation: Architect and execute AWS cloud migration for critical insurance systems, ensuring scalability, security, and minimal downtime.
- Drive Technical Excellence: Develop and review Java-based applications (Spring Boot) and OracleDB solutions, enhancing policy and point-of-sale systems.
- Manage Agile Delivery: Contribute to Agile sprints, ensuring high-quality code, robust testing, and on-time feature delivery in a collaborative environment.
- Collaborate Globally: Coordinate with Hong Kong and India vendors, leveraging your Cantonese/English fluency to align schedules and deliverables.
- Engage Stakeholders: Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, align solutions, and ensure project success.
- Ensure Compliance: Deliver solutions that meet stringent insurance regulations, maintaining data integrity and system reliability.
- Innovate with Impact: Enhance a state-of-the-art client portal, revolutionizing how customers engage with insurance services.
What We're Looking For
- Cloud Expertise: Proven leadership in AWS cloud migrations (e.g., S3, RDS, Kubernetes), with a track record of optimizing performance.
- Technical Mastery: Strong Java (Spring Boot) and OracleDB skills, with experience in microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Insurance Background: Experience in life insurance or financial services, with knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Communication Skills: Native/fluent Cantonese and proficient English for seamless stakeholder and vendor coordination.
- Problem-Solver: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, adapt to evolving needs, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; certifications (e.g., AWS, Scrum Master) are a plus.
