We are seeking a Compliance Assurance and Governance Professional to oversee regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance for our digital payment platform. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices, supporting business operations while mitigating risks.
Your new role
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks in alignment with regulatory mandates.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Oversee internal governance processes, ensuring that Outsourcing Committees, where applicable, function effectively and that approval mechanisms are properly established. Prepare and present all required information for Management review, including Board-level approvals, as appropriate.
- Monitor evolving regulations, assess their impact, and guide necessary adjustments to operations.
- Collaborate with compliance officers across regulated entities to align and standardise outsourcing policies and procedures. Establish and uphold a comprehensive outsourcing framework to effectively manage risks related to outsourced activities, including implementing robust due diligence processes.
- Collaborate with legal and risk teams to uphold governance standards and ethical business practices.
- Provide compliance training for employees and ensure company-wide awareness of regulatory obligations.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely reporting of compliance matters.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related concerns and incidents.
- Maintain documentation and reporting systems for regulatory compliance audits.
- Foster a culture of compliance, transparency, and risk awareness within the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, or Finance, or an equivalent background in compliance.
- Requires 6-10+ years of proven expertise in compliance-related roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management.
- Welcome candidates from fintech/payment/e-commerce/financial services.
- Highly developed interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and geographical locations.
- Strong networking skills and proactive initiative, essential for navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Solid knowledge of fintech, e-commerce, payments, financial services, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- A reliable team player.
- Self-driven professional with a positive attitude, demonstrating resourcefulness, adaptability, and flexibility in a dynamic and high-performance environment.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must.
