Role profile: This is an exciting role for a hungry junior salesperson within the buyside workflows sales team where you'll help us increase our footprint in the hedge fund and asset management space. Your knowledge of the competitive landscape and ability to build relationships, maintain a healthy sales pipeline and close deals will be crucial to the team's success.
Role summary: As a junior hunter" in the sales team, this salesperson will be specialized in Workspace solutions for Buyside clients - with a very strong focus on the hedge fund and asset managers space in Hong Kong.
This role is exclusively about gross sales and involves working in close partnership with account managers, solution consultants and customer success managers to proactively drive revenue growth. Extensive training via onboarding programs and continued mentoring by other frontline staff and management will be provided.
What you'll be doing: - Develop a sales strategy that positions Workspace solutions strongly in the Hong Kong buyside community.
- Creatively structure, hunt and close deals.
- Build long term relationships with industry professionals.
- Deliver customer demonstrations on our Workspace solutions related product offerings.
What you'll bring: - 2-4 years of experience working in the financial services industry, ideally in a client facing role.
- General understanding of financial markets and prior exposure to products and services from financial data vendors.
- Strong sales mentality and independent salesperson.
- Strong presentation skills (verbal and written). Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin preferred.
