Job Title: Team Lead- Client Services – Assets Custody (HK must and Japan preferred)
Location: Hong Kong
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, overseeing deliverables, requests, and initiatives while building trust and credibility.
- Inquiry Handling & Escalation: Monitor and respond to client inquiries via email and phone, ensuring prompt resolution or escalation as needed.
- Operational Support: Address various client issues, including corporate actions, trade settlements, fund transfers, and account maintenance, in collaboration with internal teams.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Act as the escalation point for risk-related client matters, ensuring proper documentation, controls, and resolution of issues.
- Technology & Process Optimization: Streamline workflows, increase automation, and support efficiency in new business and product implementations.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship Managers to align with client goals and identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Leadership & Team Development: Participate in committees, oversee performance reviews, provide coaching, and manage disciplinary processes.
- Industry Knowledge & Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of company products, services, and workflows while establishing key internal and external contacts.
Profile:
- Educational & Professional Background: Bachelors degree in business, finance, or accounting, or equivalent experience in global custody, markets operations, fund accounting, or financial services client servicing.
- Industry & Leadership Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Communication & Language Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; fluency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred, with Japanese as a second or third language.
- Collaborative & Client-Focused Approach: Ability to work effectively across multiple teams with strong client service skills.
- Technical & Organizational Strengths: Strong aptitude for numbers, attention to detail, and ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Creative thinker capable of identifying, recommending, and implementing solutions to challenges.
