Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all post trade processes (include HK/US Equity, Bonds, Futures, Forwards, OTC, Repo).
  2. Send daily trade execution to custodian, trustees, and fund administrator.
  3. Liaise with brokers and custodian to resolve settlement issues.
  4. Perform control functions to determine trades, positions and ensure the accuracy of all trades.
  5. Liaise with brokers/Fund Administrator, custodian, trustee, and compliance as needed in account opening/New fund set up/KYC.
  6. Responsible for daily operation works, such as cash and security holding reconciliation, cash projection.
  7. Handle corporate actions and proxyedge voting accurately, timing and effectively.
  8. Prepare the FX, Time deposit, Fund transfer.
  9. Manage the booking of expenses/income, FX, Time deposit, Fund transfer.
  10. Work closely with Marketing, product, and Investment team for broker & account onboarding.

Job requirements:

  1. Good understanding of the entire operations, settlement workflow and account openings in buy-side. Able to take up the whole settlement process, sensitive to detail and process strong trouble-shooting skills.
  2. Bachelor degree or above in Accountings, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
  3. Minimum 5 years of settlement experience in asset management firms.
  4. Good at team communication, especially in Mandarin and English. It is often necessary to communicate with the parent company in Beijing and external counter-party (Custodian banks/ Brokers)  in Hong Kong to complete the work together.
  5. Best if you have strong IT background.
