Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities - 

• Oversee daily finance operations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare timely monthly financial, management, and regulatory reports for the Hong Kong branch and asset management entities.
• Conduct regular financial and regulatory controls to ensure compliance.
• Support statutory reporting, including audits, tax filings, and liaising with external auditors.
• Compile audited financial statements and ensure accuracy of financial documentation.
• Participate in finance-related projects, including gathering requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting testing and implementation.
• Provide coverage for team members when required and manage ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; accounting qualification or finalist preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience within banks or financial institutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Macros and Power Query.
• Familiarity with coding tools like SQL, Python, or Alteryx is a plus.
• Experience with SAP (accounting), Avaloq (banking), or FRS Global (HKMA reporting) systems is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
