Junior Risk & Operations Analyst - Top Tier Hedge Fund (Open to Fresh Graduate)

Top-tier Hedge Fund with long established track record currently looking for a Junior Risk & Operations Analyst to join their mid-back office in Hong Kong to work closely with Senior Management and C Level.

Salary: HK$20k - HK$30k

Job Duties:

  • On the job training to administer the process flow regarding the back end for various products such as equities and derivatives
  • Records of risk metrics on funds on daily basis
  • Liaise with risk team and monitor news relating to the funds;
  • Liaise with the decision-makers to deliver special requests; and
  • Process improvement assignments; 
  • Assist in reporting preparation including risk reporting, monthly newsletters and ad hoc reporting requests

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above (Statistics, Business Analysis, Data Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines);
  • 1 year + risk management experience
  • Risk management experience in fund industry would be highly preferable
  • Open to Fresh Graduate
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, independent and diligent;
  • Take initiatives and pay attention to details
  • Good command of English and Chinese;
  • Proficiency in PC skills, especially MS Office Applications; and
  • Good team player in an efficient working atmosphere under pressure
