My client is a fundamental and research-driven alternative investment firm headquartered in Hong Kong. Our team of experienced professionals focuses on cross-border investments, leveraging robust macroeconomic and policy research to achieve sustainable performance.
Your new role
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial analysis on listed Chinese companies.
- Develop high-conviction investment ideas through bottom-up research.
- Maintain close communication with company management teams and industry experts.
- Produce well-structured investment theses and models to support portfolio decisions.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and sector developments impacting investments.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of buy-side equity research experience, with a strong track record in long/short.
- Deep sector knowledge in China Generalist, China Internet, China Consumer, Global Consumer, Global TMT, or Japan Equity.
- Proven ability to generate actionable investment ideas and experience in short selling or understanding short selling.
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English.
- Self-starter with high integrity and a collaborative mindset.
