Our client, a well-known publicly listed organization in Hong Kong with a substantial IT team, is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructure solutions. Collaboration with development, operations, and IT teams will be critical to ensure the secure deployment and operation of cloud systems. This role is initially offered as a 12-month contract.
Key Contributions:
- Develop and implement secure cloud architectures on AWS platforms ensuring robust protection against threats.
- Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate security controls and configurations.
- Ensure cloud environments comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Configure and manage IAM policies, roles, and access controls to enforce least privilege principles across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks in cloud infrastructure.
- Lead investigations and remediation efforts for cloud-related security incidents, ensuring minimal impact and rapid recovery.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
Core Expectations:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of working experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with container security and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
