Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Electronic Trading System Developer to join their innovative Electronic Trading Solutions team. The role is based in Hong Kong or Singapore, offering exposure to a regional team of skilled algo developers and diverse trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop the algo execution platform and its associated strategies.
- Enhance the performance of existing trading strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated testing systems.
- Provide 2nd line support for the algo execution platform.
Essential Skills
- Core Java Development: Extensive expertise in Java, including development experience in low-latency, scalable trading environments.
- Algo Systems Knowledge: Proven experience with algo strategies, automated trading, and electronic systems.
- FIX Protocol and OMS Expertise: Strong knowledge in FIX, market data, and Order Management Systems, particularly with equities in Asian markets.
- Programming Proficiency: Technical experience in Python, Perl, shell scripts, SQL, NoSQL databases, and Linux environments.
- Analytics and Innovation: Knowledge in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with familiarity in data pipelines and in-memory data grids.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Self-motivated, multi-tasking, and solution-oriented professional with exceptional analytical capabilities.
- Communication: Clear and confident verbal and written communication in English.
